Talk To Her (Spanish: Hable Con Ella) is a 2002 Spanish psychological melodrama film, written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar. It stars: Javier Cámara, Darío Grandinetti, Leonor Watling, Geraldine Chaplin, and Rosário Flores. The film follows two men who form an unlikely friendship, as they care for two women who are both in comas.
The film was a widespread critical and commercial success, with singled-out praise towards its direction, performances and especially its screenplay. It won the BAFTA for Best Film Not in the English Language, and the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, while Almodóvar won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, marking one of the few times where a non-English speaking film won this category. It is generally regarded as one of the best films of the 2000s,one of the best films of the 21st century, as well as Almodóvar's magnum opus.
